Kyle Knell is a 2017 SS/UT with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Tigard, OR who attends Jesuit HS. Medium-large frame with solid, athletic present build and good projection remaining on frame. Posted a 7.00 seconds 60 yard dash time. Impressed offensively, getting through the ball well with solid weight transfer. Turns the barrel well and drives the baseball to all fields. Quick hands highlighted by strong wrists/forearms. Generates good bat speed; power is gap-to-gap right now with more coming. Worked out defensively in the infield. Shows solid actions to the ball with solid footwork, gets to ball quickly and fields cleanly. Quick and clean transfer with quick release from sidearm slot, very clean and efficient throughout. IF velocity topped at 75 MPH with consistent accuracy. Named to 2015 Northwest Showcase Top Prospect List. Very good student.
