Justin Horvath is a 2016 OF/C/RHP with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Darby, MT who attends Darby HS. Compact athletic build, has some present strength. 7.64 runner, works through the ball well in the outfield, runs good routes and plays with energy, over the top arm slot with a good arm action and some on line carry to his throws. Right handed hitter, aggressive swing, swings hard and creates some bat speed, can drive the ball when squared, gap power, has some natural loft in his swing with good extension out front. Also pitched, high 3/4's arm slot, gets downhill well from a fast baced delivery. Mid-70's fastball is pretty straight, best pitch is a big downer curveball with tight spin, throws strikes with both pitches. High energy player who likes to play.
