Adrian Candelaria is a 2018 OF/IF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Sherman Oaks, CA who attends Birmingham HS. Candelaria has medium build with room to fill out and add strength to frame. Hits from an open stance and closes on stride. Compact bath path with pull approach. Barrel has line drive plane with lift. Showed ability to hit to all fields. Defensively, short arm action and circle in back, low 3/4 slot, attacks baseball with actions, sure handed and good feet coming through. Good Student.
