Billy Dunbar is a 2017 3B/MIF, OF with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Hamlin, NY who attends Brockport High School. Medium, athletic frame with longer limbs and present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.49 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, moves well on feet and takes long strides going up the middle, fields the ball out front and funnels to an extended arm slot, gets on top of throws and shows accuracy across the diamond, arm strength will continue to develop. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide base, bent knee stance, and a high back elbow in the box. Busy load with moving parts to start of swing, line drive swing plane with an inside path. Shifts weight through lower half well, pulls out front side early with a high finish through the ball. Leg lift trigger for timing, some uphill to swing path with middle of the field approach. Good student.
