Wyatt Andersen is a 2019 SS/3B, 2B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Minden, IA who attends Tri-Center. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Projects for additional strength while maintaining athleticism. Ran a 7.38 sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop, stays low while traveling to the baseball with clean footwork. Smooth, fundamental glove actions while funneling and working through exchange. Released from a three-quarters arm slot producing accurate carry across the infield, topped at 79 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an even, balanced stance and simple leg lift trigger. Shifts into contact well with linear lower half. Loose, extended path to contact with a downhill plane through extension. Flashed some present bat speed when working the to middle of the field on a level, line drive plane through extension. Very good student as well.
