Ethan Lounsbury is a 2017 OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Wassaic, NY who attends Webutuck High School. Medium athletic frame with a young, lean build and projects nicely with room to fill throughout frame. Ran a 5.34 40-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well to the ball and works through it well with lower half, short arm action coming through the back enables to consistently get on top of throws, twitch to actions, ball comes out of hand cleanly with present arm strength and projects nicely moving forward. Lefthanded hitter, simple load in the box to begin swing and stays balanced throughout. Keeps hands in through swing and show ability to generate bat speed through the zone, lets the ball travel and can hit to all fields with comfort, flashes jump off the barrel when squared. Good student.
