Nick Stepke is a 2019 SS/2B, 3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Rochester Hills, MI who attends Rochester. Large frame with slender, athletic present build; good projection remaining on body. Ran 60 yard dash in 6.91 seconds. Sets up to hit from upright stance with high hand set and leg lift trigger, gets foot down a bit early at times, shows good quickness to hands on line drive swing plane, good extension through the zone, shows approach to the middle of the field. Executed approach well and showed ability to spray line drives to all fields with developing strength. Worked out in the infield; shows clean actions at the ball with hands, solid athleticism throughout footwork with quality range to both sides, gets off quick release and shows quality arm strength across the diamond, clocked up to 82 mph. Very good student, named to 2017 Ohio Valley Showcase Top Prospect List.
