Brendan Weatherholt is a 2019 2B/3B/SS with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Arnold, MO who attends St. Pius X HS. Medium frame with a lean build. Primary second baseman with smooth paced, deliberate footwork while surrounding the baseball. Funnels clean with developing fluidity while working through transition. Flashed good range to each side with the ability to throw with accuracy while on the run, topped at 78 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a balanced, even stance and simple front side trigger. Stays on back side and works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Stays inside the baseball well at contact while utilizing a slightly lifted barrel plane. Created good bat whip through the zone while looking to lift the baseball between the gaps. Good student.
