Greyson Thornton is a 2019 1B/RHP, 3B, OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Muscle Shoals, AL who attends Muscle Shoals HS. Recorded a 7.04 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with a very lean frame. Primary first baseman with solid arm speed and a fluid transfer. Deliberate actions with a full arm path and an over the top arm slot. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a short and online arm action. Tight, higher three-quarter arm angle and release. Short rocker into a leg lift at the belt. Intent to the delivery with a solid 12/6 curveball for strikes. Flashes some tilt to the breaking ball. Fastball comes out of the hand well and can get to both sides of the plate. Flashed a changeup as well. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set and high back elbow. Strides closed and hits the ball out in front. Patient and fluid swing with loose hands. Has good bat speed with very good timing. Gets extended well in front of the plate and looking to lift the ball. Natural leverage to the path and good offensive tools. Great student.
