Mason Fortune is a 2024 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Raleigh, NC who attends Millbrook HS. Recorded a 7.59 second 60-yard dash time. Athletic frame with a longer build and room to add strength. Primary third baseman with deliberate actions and a shorter arm action. Comes through well upon release with throws recorded up to 77 mph. Secondary righthanded pitcher with fluidity and smoothness throughout. Small side step into a higher leg lift. Clean arm action with a low three-quarters arm slot. Pronates the fastball and generates good arm side run. Pushes the changeup but shows some fading action while the curveball showed downer shape and projects. Righthanded hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Flat barrel path with some bat speed in a full path. Swings hard and flashed some impressive bat speed through extension. Posits an intriguing power ceiling.
