Grant Williams is a 2017 3B/ with a 5-10 205 lb. frame from Warren, OH who attends Warren G Harding. Medium frame with a solid build and present strength. Ran a 7.26 sixty yard dash. Primary third baseman with compact footwork while working to and surrounding the baseball. Glove glove skills while funneling the baseball with developing fluidity. Gets rid of baseball with a quick release that topped at 71 mph across the infield. Flashed good first step angles when working to each side with developing range. Right handed hitter with an upright, straight stance and high back elbow set. Creates good torque to baseball with rotational lower half actions. Hands launch to contact and a quick, compact path that generates a linear plane through extension. Flashed solid strength and contact producing loud contact to the gaps when squared. Showed best balance, bat speed and barrel path when working the the middle of the field.
