Jose Santiago is a 2017 OF with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Guaynabo, PR who attends American Military Academy. Medium frame with a lean build. Frame projects for additional size with strength. Ran a 6.83 sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder smooth, deliberate footwork while closing to the baseball. Clean glove actions while funneling with quick exchanges while working through transfer. Full arm action at release and created on line carry to the bag topping at 79 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a narrow stance and medium hand set. Lower half works to baseball with a simple leg lift trigger. Hands work on a downward path to a through contact. Showed the ability to work to all fields but primary worked to the middle of the field producing consistent line drive, ground ball contact.
