Jaden Pinkney is a 2018 OF/C, MIF with a 6-2 174 lb. frame from Bowie, MD who attends Charles Herbert Flowers. Large frame with athletic build; good physicality. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.62 seconds. Sets up to hit from narrow-based stance, small leg lift with good balance, draws hands back and around into load, line drive swing plane, gets barrel out, shows good ability to cover the plate and work to all fields. Primary outfielder, moves well and gets around the ball, short steps with good balance, fields cleanly, arm strength up to 73 mph. Also caught, side saddle with two hand reception rising out, quick hip through mechanics, popped 2.34 seconds. Very good student.
