Rhone Meche is a 2017 RHP/ with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from New Orleans, LA who attends Benjamin Franklin HS. Medium frame, athletic build with room to put on additional muscle. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws from a high 3/4 arm slot. 11/5 curveball shape. Does a nice job of incorporating the lower half into pitching mechanics. Developing arm speed and extension toward the plate. Pounds the strike zone, pitches to his field. Good footwork on the infield, moves well laterally. Sure handed on ground balls, soft hands. At the plate, right-handed hitter that stats in a squared, crouched stance. Good barrel control, consistent contact in games. Excellent student.
