Jordan Litke is a 2017 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Gurnee, IL who attends Warren Township. Large frame with lean build. Body projects. Works exclusively from the stretch with a long arm action from a 3/4 slot. Shows good arms speed on fastball with quality sinking action and run. Pounds the bottom of the zone with the fastball that ranged from 75-77 mph, topped at 78 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape with some depth, curveball flattens when on the side of offering. Shows best effectiveness when curveball is thrown for strikes. Establishes fastball and is up tempo with a grab it and go mentality. Was able to produce groundballs and weak contact often. Even stance with a big leg lift trigger at the plate. Hands are in a strong position at load and has an extended high finish. Has ability to square up contact to all fields when in rhythm. Stays on pitches nicely on the outside half when weight transfer from the lower half is balanced. Athletic actions at 1B with solid arm strength and online carry on throws. Topped at 75 mph. Shows good footwork and feel around 1B. Soft glove work while receiving and picking. Good student as well.
