Nick Grande is a 2020 2B/SS with a 5-5 130 lb. frame from Pawling, NY who attends Pawling High School. Young, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build which will continue to develop physically moving forward. Ran a 7.67 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, moves easy on feet and shows range with nice energy, fields out front and glove plays, funnels into a mid three-quarters arm slot with a quick transfer, ball gets out of glove, throws are on line with arm strength and carry that will continue to develop. Righthanded hitter, begins with a slightly open stance in the box with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing at start, stays short to he ball and employs a contact approach. Works the middle and pull side parts of the field, gets uphill at times with swing plane but repeats swing well and creates contact out front. Excellent student.
