Luke Jacobson is a 2017 SS/2B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Fenton, MO who attends St John Vianney HS. Medium frame, slender build, room to fill out as he continues to add additional strength. Ran a 7.47 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, athletic actions, good lateral ranges, surrounds ball well, plays the ball in front, quick exchange. Made online throws to bases, online with carry. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with slightly open stance. Hands extend back in load, aggressive swings, stays inside the baseball, hard pull side contact. Excellent student.
