Ty Mainolfi is a 2024 SS/OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Staten Island, NY who attends St. Peter's Boys. Lean and athletic build. Primary infielder who moves well laterally and gets to the ball well. Fielded it cleanly with a soft set of hands. Can change the slot with ease and make off balance throws. Made all throws with good accuracy and on a line. Also played outfield and has a quick arm with good strength behind it. Was up to 88 from the outfield. Ran a 7.14 sixty. Left-handed hitter with an open stance. Stays controlled and balanced well throughout the process. Uses a small leg lift and stride for timing and weight transfer. Has a smooth lefty swing with good feel for the barrel and can launch it as well. Rotates well and controls the barrel well. Good pull-side juice. Good student.
