Jesse Cooper-Leary is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 5-9 158 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends Fieldston HS. Recorded a 6.97 second 60-yard dash time. Younger frame and build with room for additional strength. Primary outfielder with a compact arm stroke and arm strength recorded up to 79 mph. Moves to the ball well and funnels to the throwing hand cleanly. Throws across with some carry and made accurate throws to the correct side of the bag. Righthanded hitter who starts with a closed, crouched stance. High hand set with a high back elbow and flashes some bat speed with lift. Looks to attack the fastball and there is some juice through the point of impact. Gets the barrel out in front and currently operates with more of a gap-to-gap approach. Good student.
