Joseph Patane is a 2021 2B with a 5-6 135 lb. frame from Hunington, NY who attends John Glenn. Medium frame with young, slender build; good projection remaining physically. Ran 60 yard dash in 8.29 seconds. Coils hip back into load when hitting, longer stride out, uncoils front hip well and drives through swing in lower half. Middle-field approach with line drive swing plane, shows quality contact ability to all fields, will drive the ball more as he continues to add strength. Worked out in the infield, moderate range to both sides, good idea of hand actions at the ball, works through okay, shows accuracy across the diamond with arm strength clocked up to 65 mph. Very good student.
