Michael Ukrainskyj is a 2017 OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Westfield, NJ who attends Seton Hall Preparatory. Large, athletic frame with long limbs and a projectable build with room to fill out with additional strength. Ran a 7.04 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well to the ball and fields out front, works behind the ball and generates strength on throws, projects for more with incorporation of lower half. Higher release, gets on top and generates carry on throws. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base and a high hand set. Shows a short bat path to the ball, quick hands and generates nice bat speed coming through. Line drive swing plane with contact to all fields, solid approach and creates steady contact. Very good student.
