Colin Innes is a 2020 SS/2B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends North Cobb Christian. Medium frame with room to fill. Ran a 7.21 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield fielding the ball out in front, gathers the baseball bending with knees in a low fielding position, quick release with a whipping arm action, showcased range to either side laterally, made all plays topping out at 72 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with an even stance and a high hand set, takes a leg lift trigger into contact, could unlock more pop with adjustments to lower half shift, takes a downhill path to contact, opposite field approach. Good student.
