Sean Wills is a 2018 SS/OF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Mountain Top, PA who attends Holy Redeemer. Medium build with athletic frame; good room to fill out. Hits with lower hand set, smaller and simple load back and comes through zone well. Hands work well in swing, shows good line drive approach with solid bat speed. Times the pitch well and makes consistent line drive contact both in batting practice as well as in game. Shows quick first step in the infield, fields cleanly and has athletic actions throughout fielding the baseball. Shows good footwork, quick/clean exchange from glove to hand, and throws accurately across the diamond. Pitched as well, showing quick and repeatable delivery, stays online through release, uses legs well, throws from lower 3/4 arm slot with FB working in 72-73 range. CB showed good depth and shape, did a good job throwing strikes consistently with both pitches and working down in the zone. Very good student.
