Drew Sullins is a 2019 OF/IF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Dallas, GA who attends North Paulding HS. Medium, athletic frame with slender present build; body projects well moving forward. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.30 seconds. Sets up to hit from upright, even-based stance with high back elbow and high hands to start. Compact stroke with inside-out path, swings the bat hard with intent, showed good ability to work back through the middle of the diamond as well as to go the opposite way when necessary. Line drive swing plane, good contact skills. Worked out defensively in the outfield, moves well to the ball and lines it up, fields cleanly out front and works well into crow hop mechanics with good balance to footwork. Shows developing arm strength with good direction to target, topped at 74 MPH on throws back into the infield. Good student.
