Trevor Mann is a 2016 1B/RHP, SS with a 6-2 178 lb. frame from Killingworth, CT who attends Haddam-Killingworth HS. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders with long limbs, high waist and room to fill out. Ran a 7.50 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, moves well on feet coming off the bag, quick release with a short arm action, gets on top of ball, fields out front and shows accuracy on throws across. Also pitched, full and whippy arm action in the back with an extended mid three-quarter release point. Balanced and controlled delivery, short stride down the mound with slightly close landing foot. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, generates some sink on it down in the zone and comes out of hand clean and easy, can get down low to glove side. Curveball shows 11-5 shape, occasionally around the pitch but throws for strikes. Right-handed hitter, starts with a tall, narrow stance and a high hand set. Upper body swing, loads weight on backside, line drive swing plane through the zone with line drive contact up the middle. Projects with lower half incorporated. Good student.
