Tyson Measamer is a 2019 1B/3B with a 5-9 195 lb. frame from Sanford, NC who attends Chatham Central. Medium frame with solid, strong present build and some projection left on frame. Hits with barrel wag pre-load, heavily rotational swing, balanced load and stride, will cut off swing due to over rotation of hips and as a result become pull-oriented in approach. Moving parts in swing with some fluidity. Generates solid bat speed, showed ability to hit the ball hard when timed properly. Worked out defensively in the IF and at 1B. Gets to the ball and gets in good position to field on left side of infield, fields cleanly and shows balance through actions, threw accurately across the diamond. Worked well around the bag at 1B with solid footwork, did good job fielding to glove side and making accurate throws to 2B and 3B. Good student.
