Jake Lenardo is a 2020 LHP/1B with a 6-0 215 lb. frame from Howell, NJ who attends Howell HS. Recorded a 5.50 second 40-yard dash time. Large frame with a physical build and well-proportioned strength throughout. Primary lefthanded pitcher who repeats delivery well with a lot of movement throughout. Quick tempo with a chest high leg lift. Closes slightly off to the hitter with a short, quick arm stroke and a lower three-quarters arm slot. Repeats arm slot well and commands the strike zone. Deceptive and showed a curveball with slurvy action. Comes in from a similar tunnel as the fastball. Arm strength played nicely from secondary position of first base. Lefthanded hitter with a big leg lift trigger into the swing that allows hips to fire well. Strength off the barrel and some juice to the pull side. Leverages nicely and has a consistent, lofted stroke. Good student.
