Luke Clark is a 2020 C/1B with a 6-1 215 lb. frame from Decatur, GA who attends Decatur. Large and stocky frame with present strength to the build. Ran a 7.07 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, could work on gaining ground out of his crouch into throw downs, very quick transfer from mitt to hand, lots of quickness to actions with the ball being released getting too quick at times and having a tendency to rush, short arm action into throws with average arm strength to second base, 2.02 second best pop time. Righthanded hitter, narrow base with a high hand set and a high back elbow, takes a small stride into contact, compact and easy stroke, repeats it well using mostly his upper half, could utilize lower half more into swing but flashes present power, pull side and patient approach with intent to drive the baseball. Outstanding student.
