Landon Slemp is a 2020 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Johnson City, TN who attends Science Hill HS. Medium and projectable frame with plenty of room to continue to fill out physically. Ran a 7.19 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, sits back on the baseball rounding it well, some athleticism to actions, hands are playable, loose arm stroke into throws producing average arm strength, topped out at 80 mph across the infield. Secondary righthanded pitcher, clean and flowing delivery throughout, works quickly with good tempo, loose arm that works well through the back up to a 3/4 arm slot, fastball topped out at 82 mph, mixed in a curveball with developing spin and feel in the mid-60s. Righthanded hitter, sets up to hit with an upright stance, shifts well into contact properly, good barrel feel with bat to ball skills, smooth swing getting full extension through contact. Good student.
