2015 Atlantic Coast Top Prospect Showcase
Cody Hart is a 2016 3B/MIF, OF with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Moyock, NC who attends Greenbrier Christian Academy. Medium frame with slender, athletic present build and good projection remaining on frame. Posted a 7.32 seconds 60 yard dash time. Showed quality hitting tools overall. Hits from slightly wrapped start, high hand set with smaller leg lift trigger, quick bat with quick hands to and through the hitting zone, shifts well into contact for the most part, strong wrists and forearms. Mostly line drive approach with consistent line drive contact to both gaps, shows some lift in swing that will help additional strength translate into more power moving forward. Worked out defensively in the infield. Quick actions with quick feet, moves well to the ball and shows range to both sides, fields with good balance and shows soft hands. Quick release with accuracy across the diamond, IF velocity topped at 77 MPH. Very good student.
