Seth Hill is a 2017 RHP/ with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Barbourville, KY who attends Knox Central. Medium frame, strong athletic build. Side step out of windup into leg lift, with slight hip turn an apex of lift. Good body control, athleticism to repeat delivery with generally online landing, good timing and rhythm. Elongated and fluid arm-action, arm path, shows solid armspeed in working through backside and releasing from a high three quarter's arm slot. Fastball up to 81 mph, shows ability to throw consistent strikes with offering, can locate it to both sides of plate, although more comfortable in working to the armside at present. Has confidence, comfort in breaking ball with short depth, tight break and varied 11/5 to 12/6 shape. Also has advanced feel for changeup, can locate pitch with fading action for both called strikes and use as chase pitch. Impressive overall feel for pitching, has ability to use any pitch in any count. Very good student. Named to Ohio Valley Showcase Top Prospect List.
