Bryant Caldwell is a 2016 OF/ with a 5-10 154 lb. frame from Columbia, SC who attends Spring Valley HS. Young slender build with room to put on additional size. Athletic runner posting a 6.79 60. In the infield, moves well laterally and throws with a long arm action across getting up to 77 MPH. Footwork and transfer developing. Did not see throws from outfield. At the plate, right handed hitter that starts with an open stance. Has a medium-high leg lift with mainly pull side contact. Hands stay tight while front shoulder has tendency to dip. Also pitched, has small arm side run and sink to fastball. Command still developing on all pitches.
