Ryan Kirby is a 2006 2B/3B from Forsyth Central High School in Cumming, Georgia, with a 5'9'', 175 lb. frame. Defensively he has nice footwork around the second base bag, and gets in great position to make the plays. He has good hands, and has very good range especially to his glove side. Kirby also shows good body control on slow rollers. At the plate he is a right handed hitter with a no load approach and a short stride. Kirby is a contact hitter who hits the ball in play on the ground and tries to make things happen. He has a good eye at the plate with a good understanding of the strike zone. Kirby plays hard and competes.
