Nolan Scourtis is a 2019 2B/C, 1B, 3B, IF with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Norcross, GA who attends Norcross. Medium frame with a strong, athletic build. Primary second baseman with smooth paced, deliberate footwork while working to the baseball. Clean glove actions while funneling the baseball from a slightly deeper position and works through exchange with developing fluidity. Released from a compact three-quarters arm slot generating softer, accurate carry across the infield topping at 74 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, open stance and simple front side trigger. Loose, extended path to contact with a level barrel plane through extension. Flashed some feel for the barrel but primarily stayed behind the baseball and worked to opposite field. Tools will continue to develop with physical maturity and repetition. Very good student.
