Chris Potter is a 2019 C/3B/SS with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Chickamauga, GA who attends Gordon Lee HS. Medium athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, very open stance with a deep hand load, big leg kick to close his delivery, can simplify his pre-swing approach for better timing and balance, has good strength in his swing and creates bat speed once the barrel gets going, line drive plane and squares the ball up to all fields with some gap power, has the tools to keep improving with adjustments. 7.03 runner, has some arm strength behind the plate with young footwork and exchanges, athletic player who could likely play other positions well in addition to catching. Very good student.
