Kalum Banks Jr is a 2020 3B/1B with a 5-10 230 lb. frame from Forest Park, GA who attends South Atlanta Law And Social Justice High School. Very young player with a medium frame, strong, compact build, with ability to continue to refine frame. Primary third basemen, fielded with two hands, extended release, longer arm action, and developing arm strength. At the plate, started with a closed stance, high hand set, high back elbow, and a bigger leg lift timing mechanism. Very active barrel into swing and creates leverage through point of contact. Works up to the ball with impact off the barrel. Good bat speed and strength at the point of contact. Improved timing and lower half usage would aid consistency.
