Sean Wing is a 2017 OF/2B with a 5-9 172 lb. frame from Grand Rapids, MI who attends Forest Hills Central HS. Wing has a medium sized frame with some strength. Defensively he throws with a short arm action with arm strength up to 78 MPH. Wing moves to the ball well and has solid actions through the baseball. He has a big transfer and has some carry on his throws. At the plate, Wing starts with an open stance and gets closed to start his swing. He swings on a line drive path and showed solid contact ability. He has a lot of moving parts to his swing and stays short to the baseball. Wing showed feel for the barrel and some hitting tools. Excellent student.
