Coby Wilkerson is a 2021 3B/RHP, 1B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Monroe, GA who attends Walnut Grove. Flashed an extra large frame with a strong, athletic build showing some room to fill down the road. Ran a 7.63 second sixty yard dash. Primary Thirdbaseman sitting back on the baseball looking it into the glove. Showed clean mechanics as he made sure of a clean gather and transfer. Arm is accurate with some carry to throws at times. Secondary Righthanded pitcher working from a belt high leg kick with weight on backside coiled up. Clean mechanics with repeatable actions. Relies heavily on upper half to create velocity. High three-quarter arm slot showing some deception. Fastball up to 80 mph and a curveball showing 12/6 movement flashing good depth with advanced feel for it. Righthanded hitter starting with a high hands set working into a slightly high leg kick. Bat speed showing as he went on to barrel it up as well. Short to the baseball while staying long through it. Creates some lift as he showed he could spray the baseball all over the park. Outstanding Student.
