Cody Kantz is a 2022 3B/RHP, C, 2B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Carmel, IN who attends Carmel. Medium height with a lean and athletic build that will easily hold strength. Ran a 7.37 in the sixty yard dash. A primary infielder, feet stay balanced and under control during his approach. Actions and timing to make all the plays and throws are consistent around the bag. A right-handed hitter, starts even and slightly open with a deep hand set to start. Quick stroke and works the hands out front with an all fields approach. Also pitched with a shorter arm action and extension at release. 3/4 slot and repeats well working to all four quadrants. Arm side run on the fastball and 11/5 shape to breaking ball that he has advanced feel for. Knows how to pitch. Good student.
