Andrew Jenkins is a 2019 3B/RHP/C with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Pace Academy. Big and strong athletic build, pretty mature physically. Right handed hitter, has quick and fluid hands, hanging leg lift load, has lots of strength and lift when he's on time, is looking to get out front and lift and pull the ball, long and strong swing. 6.97 runner, good balance at third base with clean step by step actions, arm strength is his best defensive tool, charged the ball well. Also pitched, arm strength translated well to the mound, quick arm, works exclusively from the stretch with simple low maintenance mechanics. Fastball topped out at 92 mph, mostly straight with occasional sink and run. Throws two different breaking balls, slider is sharp with tight spin, curveball has some depth and can be dropped in for strikes. Good student, verbal commitment to Georgia.
