Christopher Heinzelman is a 2016 C/ with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Columbus, GA who attends Northside. Medium frame with solid present build; projects well physically. Hits from open stance with toe tap trigger, slightly barred start, good bat speed creates contact out front with strength off the barrel to all fields. Shows developing power to pull field, most contact came up the middle or to pull field. Good footwork behind the plate with some quickness in actions, receives well and throws accurately to 2B with developing arm strength, popping as low as 2.26 seconds. Very hard-working kid, tough behind the plate and always hustling.
