Tyler Kisner is a 2017 LHP/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Guthrie, OK who attends Guthrie. Medium frame with slender, athletic present build; very good projection remaining on build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.42 seconds. Primary left-handed pitcher, employs loose and quick arm action on the mound up to high three quarters arm slot. Ball jumps out of hand cleanly, fastball worked 80-83 MPH with good arm side life. Showed curveball with 11/7 shape and sharp depth; also flashed changeup with good fading life to arm side. Mixed all three pitches and pounded the zone. Leans and rocks back into load when hitting, strides forward, line drive swing plane with middle/away approach, successful at serving the opposite way with developing bat speed. Showed well in the outfield, easy footwork and overall actions to the ball, fields cleanly and shows very strong arm with accuracy, clocked up to 87 MPH. Named to 2016 Fall Academic Top Prospect List, very good student.
