Zachary Friedrichs is a 2018 MIF/OF with a 5-8 130 lb. frame from Lake Jackson, TX who attends Brazoswood HS. Young, athletic build with a lean, projectable frame and room to fill out with additional strength. Ran a 7.54 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, takes short steps to the ball, fields deep, makes all the plays and makes accurate throws from a lower slot, will continue to develop strength on throws. Right-handed hitter, starts with a low hand set at start of swing. Keeps hands in, opens front side early at times and looks to pull. Gets barrel through the zone and creates contact to all fields. Very good student.
