Kai Moody is a 2017 SS with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from San Francisco, CA who attends George Washington HS. Slender very young build, minimal present strength but plenty of time to add it. Very sound defensive player, 7.39 runner, charges the ball well, has good hands and athletic balance, made all the game plays with accurate throws, arm strength developing but plays well because he works through the ball consistently, has a bit of flair to his defensive game. Right handed hitter, calm stance and approach, high hand start, fundamentally sound line drive swing, increased strength will significantly benefit his offensive game. Young player who always has a smile on his face, has fun playing the game. Should continue to improve with physical maturity.
