Ryan Galanie is a 2019 SS/3B/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Mason, OH who attends Moeller HS. Large frame with athletic build; good combination of present strength and projection. Ran 60 yard dash in 6.88 seconds. Sets up to hit from slightly open stance with hands set in front of body, cocks hands back into load and gets online with hips in stride. Shifts weight well into swing, tends to leak hip out early and create pullside approach, line drive swing plane, does a good job bringing barrel with authority and flashes ability to drive the ball hard on a line. Worked out in the infield, shows solid footwork with quality range to both sides, shows good actions in hands, glove tends to be down late at times, smoothness to arm stroke in full wind up release, clocked up to 82 mph. Excellent student.
