Nick Hull is a 2017 RHP/3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Woodway, WA who attends Edmonds Woodway HS. Medium frame with athletic, lean present build; good projection remaining on frame. Primary pitcher, arm works well with good arm speed, fastball worked 80-84 with good natural heaviness. Showed two different slider looks, one at 68-70 with traditional tilt and one at 71-72 with shorter, tighter break. Also flashed changeup with some fading action out of hand. Very projectable young arm. Shows strength when hitting, really driving his backside through contact and generating torque with his hips. Made consistently very hard contact on a line to all fields, projectable gap power. Worked out defensively in the infield, showing solid overall fielding actions, lower slot quick release, IF velocity up to 76 MPH. Named to 2015 Northwest Showcase Top Prospect List. Very good student.
