Patrick McMackin is a 2015 RHP with a 6-6 205 lb. frame from South Burlington, VT who attends South Burlington. Extra-large build with long limbs and a lean, projectable build with room to fill out with added strength. Right-handed pitcher, throws from a three-quarter slot with an easy arm action coming through the back side. Slow tempo delivery, stays balanced well through delivery with an online finish. Controls long levers well, stays tall at release but creates nice extension out front. Fastball topped out at 80 mph with run to arm side and shows a nice feel for an 11-5 curveball at 75 mph. Projects well with added strength. Right-handed hitter, starts with an upright stance in the box. Compact swing and path the the ball, gets to front side early at times, creates line drive contact and shows carry off the barrel with ability to hit to all fields. Outstanding student.
