Jack Pogyor is a 2017 C/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Yardley, PA who attends LaSalle. Large frame with excellent present build; plenty of strength throughout body. Ran 40 yard dash in 5.38 seconds. Shows very good bat speed when hitting, torques hips well into swing but doesn't bring lower half as completely as is ideal, still generates solid jump off the barrel. Showed ability to work gap to gap when hitting with good strength. Worked out both behind the plate and in the outfield. Receives well out front when catching, gains ground forward into catch-and-throw mechanics, compact and quick release. Ball comes out of hand well and is mostly accurate down to second base, popped as low as 2.08 seconds and threw 75 MPH from catcher position. Quick steps in on the ball in the OF, lines it up well and fields through it, repeats mechanics well and shows quick release on throws up to 79 MPH.
