Jackson Murphy is a 2017 RHP/C with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Cincinnati, OH who attends Clark Montessori High School. Large frame and build, broad shoulders, athleticism, and room to continue to add strength. Primary right handed pitcher, started from the middle of the rubber, worked downhill well, incorporated hips into delivery, and stayed tall on backside. Longer arm action through the back and threw from a high three quarter arm slot. Fastball showed natural cut at 79-83 mph with minimal effort and filled up the zone. Showed best command to glove side and pitched effectively to contact. Slider showed short break at 73 mph flashing potential as a swing and miss offering. Good student.
