Jack Pawloski is a 2018 LHP/ with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Lexington, MA who attends Lexington. XL frame with long, lean present build; significant projection remaining on body. Lefthanded pitcher; stands tall on backside in gather over rubber, coils well, online drive downhill, lands a bit collapsed. Shorter arm action, hides the ball well through the back to overtop slot release, generates very good plane to the plate. Fastball worked 82-84 mph, mostly straight but flashes occasional arm side life. Primary offspeed pitch is a curveball, thrown with 12/6 shape and very good depth, was able to land the pitch for a strike. Shows very good pick off move as well. Easy delivery with good command profile, filled up the zone with two pitches and attacked hitters. Did a good job of maintaining velocity throughout. Named to 2017 Northeast Top Showcase Top Prospect List; excellent student.
